If you put your Yellow Bin out on Sunday night, was it full? Did you have anything in it that shouldn’t have been there?

Please remember that we are charged for every individual bin pickup/empty, so if you think your bin won’t be full until the next pickup, please consider keeping it back for another fortnight. If you’ve never looked at the Recycle Right page on the blog, it’s loaded with information about how you can be a great recycler! It’s easy to be confused about what should and shouldn’t go into the Yellow Bins and many people still think it’s OK to put plastic bags and soft plastics into them! Remember to remove all lids from bottles and jars and if the lid is smaller than 10cm in diameter, put it in the Red Bin. H

Piano in the Oasis Clubhouse

The piano in the Oasis Clubhouse has recently been tuned. Residents are welcome to use the Piano anytime during the day subject to obvious conflict with other activities: eg Tai Chi, Line Dancing,Gentle Exercise.

Of any residents would like to play in the evenings, please contact a member of the Social Committee.

A private Facebook group has been set up for the residents of Palm Lake Resort Ballina. It is a closed group and only residents of Palm Lake Ballina can join.

Residents can join by being invited by a resident already a member, or by speaking to one of the Admin team – Lynne Pramana, Fiona Jones or Peter Kafka.
